Education and Programs at CTEC

CTEC Inter-Institutional Seminar Series

CTEC Inter-Institutional Seminar Series continue the evolution of an expanding community of highly interactive Ohio innovators.

Musculoskeletal Basic Science Programs

The Musculoskeletal Basic Science Program advances a broad regional base of knowledge in musculoskeletal medicine and technologies among the talented student population in the CCF/Case/UH community.

Musculoskeletal Research Seminar Series

The Musculoskeletal Research Seminar Series was established in 2003 in collaboration with researchers at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Case Western Reserve University, University Hospital, and the Northeast Ohio University College of Medicine. Monthly seminars at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Case Western Reserve University disseminate results of ongoing musculoskeletal research, create synergistic interactions, and provide enrichment programs for the wider musculoskeletal research community in the Northeast Ohio area. The seminars feature distinguished musculoskeletal researchers and presentations from members of the Northeast Ohio musculoskeletal research community.

Skeletal Research Center Seminar Series

The Skeletal Research Center Seminar Series is a lecture series that run twice a year. The Fall series runs in conjunction with the Fall classes and the same for the Spring series. The lecture series includes senior lab personnel and collaborators from Case Western Reserve University. The series also includes collaborators from other US universities as well as collaborators abroad who specialize in Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine, Cartilage Repair, Cell Targeting, Skin Aging research and many other areas.

The Skeletal Research Center is an administrative entity under the dean of Arts and Sciences and the dean of the School of Medicine and is based in the Department of Biology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. The mission of the Skeletal Research Center is to facilitate the advancement of the basic research of skeletal tissues and to accelerate the translation of this new information into innovative clinical strategies for the regeneration and maintenance of skeletal tissues.
