How to Get Involved With CTEC

As a funding or commercial partner

Active collaboration with industry is a key to bringing new therapies and devices to market. Seed funding and partnerships for commercialization are essential to advance and leverage promising technology and intellectual property opportunities resulting from CTEC projects.

As a member of the regional biotechnology community

CTEC holds educational programs, conferences and summits in which you can participate and sponsor. These programs bring the international forum of innovation to Cleveland. They explore therapeutic and business opportunities that arise from groundbreaking discoveries and new technologies, and create a forum to advance understanding and build relationships with clinicians, basic scientists and the business community at a regional, national and international level.

As a local student

Trained, dedicated researchers and business development executives are necessary for a thriving Ohio tissue engineering and biotechnology community. CTEC-sponsored seminars and course programs educate medical students, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, residents, investigators and clinician-scientists. Attendees and students are educated in laboratory techniques, intellectual property generation, management and commercialization, advancing the potential for the next generation of innovators to participate in effective research translation.

As a summit participant

CTEC organizes and sponsors international summits that honor and catalyze the process of innovation and the critical role played by collaborating academic centers, investigators, inventors, funding agencies including the NIH, and industry leaders. These summits bring together thought leaders and innovators for focused clinically targeted exploration of key challenges and opportunities arising in clinical tissue engineering.
